What the University Library Can Print

  • The University Library only accepts print requests for academic posters created for on-campus student poster sessions.
NOTE: The library has limited capacity to print academic student posters in academic year 2026. We expect that poster printing will move to another unit at the end of the academic year (watch this space for details).

    • Posters must be the product of a class assignment and presented at on-campus poster sessions (examples: fall/winter term economics poster sessions, Shepherd Poverty poster sessions, LACS poster sessions).
    • We will only print one poster per student (or student group) per course. We will not print rough drafts (only final prints).
    • Poster Printing: Faculty must contact Elizabeth Teaff at least three weeks in advance of printing requests for student poster sessions. Printing is scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis and we have limited availability for printing.
      • A list of student names is required in order to track printing.
    • End of Term Poster Sessions in Leyburn Library: Poster sessions may be scheduled Wednesday through Friday during the last week of classes or Monday through Wednesday during finals week.
    • Posters must be submitted 5 business days in advance of scheduled poster sessions. Posters are printed Sunday through Thursday. Late submissions will not be accepted once due dates are established. In the summer months, printing availability varies.
    • No marketing or signage printing. Contact University Copy Services for small format printing or for marketing and signage printing.
    • Faculty wishing to print posters for off-campus conferences may contact Copy Services or contact commercial printers such as PhD Posters.

How to Submit for Printing
